Most clients step down to our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), also located at our clinical space, which offers mental health treatment programming three to five days a week, for three hours each day.
promoting life skills and overall mental wellness, our IOP hours vary to meet the client’s needs. The average length of stay in IOP is an additional 1 to 2 months. In addition to their programming, clients will continue to be provided with individual counseling and seeing our psychiatrist.
Our day time IOP is split between two tracks. 5 day IOP and 3 day IOP. Both run from 9 am to 12 pm. It is recommended that clients admitting into our IOP have already completed a higher level of care prior to their admission, but we may be accept direct admissions on a case by case basis.
If you have questions about this, please contact our admissions staff.
Our evening lOP runs two groups per evening.
One of which is a skills group, the other be in a process group. Like all of our programs, IOP clients will meet with an individual therapist once a week and meet with our psychiatrist as needed.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) is a therapeutic technique that pairs feelings, emotions, and thoughts with bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, in order to effectively work through disturbing memories. EMDR therapy sessions focus on decreasing emotionality and lowering vividness of imagery that is connected with traumatic incidents. EMDR focuses and utilizes the brain’s ability to learn in order to reorganize previous experiences and develop a new healthier perspective. Our clinical director offers EMDR sessions for clients in our IOP programs.
